Building a Deck?

Well my old favourite is Merbau fastened using Stainless steel Square Drive Decking screws. Merbau is a versatile and forgiving timber. It is easy to work with and less inclined to cup, split or bow. The only draw back is it can release tannins, so generally avoid using it where your deck is suspended over another area where aesthetics are important
